Quote of the Day, “The most unreasonable things can happen at any time, be patient for them to appear”

It was autumn and then as second later it was winter. Winter also brought a little something with it and I found out when I heard Scout screaming from her bed. I was shaving at the time and when I heard that scream I bolted to her room. I was greeted by Scout saying, “The world’s enddin’ Atticus! Please do something!” She pulled me to the window and I found myself awed. It was snowing and I explained to Scout that the world wasn’t ending. Jem ran into the room and saw the white gift himself, too. We all went back to our designed areas and finished what we were doing there. It hasn’t snowed since 1885 and we were all excited to get down to breakfast to see the snow better.

At the breakfast table, the telephone rang and I announced to the children that there would be no school today. To the children’s delight, they finished up there breakfast and hurried out side to play in the snow. I watched them go. Let them have there fun now, but things are going to get worse and I was worrying about them.
