Quote of the day: “Getting education can be unfair”

        Today was Scout’s first day of school. She was pretty excited just to go to some school. I don’t see why she should be. School’s actually a big bore for me, or most people! The surprising thing is I expected Scout to be all hyper after school. I pictured she wouldn’t stop blabbing about her class. Was I wrong! To my amazement, she hates school! I started to enjoy her hatred of school until it started to get annoying! Her main problem is the Dewy Decimal System. It’s no problem to me, (of course it only applies to first grade, but in the point of view if I was still a first grader.) I believe the main reason why Scout can’t take the new system is because there are no books involved. Children who already know how to read, for example Scout, and have to basically clear their minds completely of what they learned, (clearing their minds.) Scout is a reading freak! I wouldn’t mind learning without books, seriously. Education’s unfair.
