        I’m not going to Maycomb this summer. I got a new father and I’m spending the summer with him. He is a lawyer like Scout’s father only he looks younger. My new daddy and I are going to build a boat together. That sounds like mighty fun. I am going to miss Scout, but I wrote to her that I will love her forever and that I will come marry her as soon as I got enough money. I hope Scout won’t spend her summer missing me while I have fun.
