Quote of the day: “ Innocent until proven guilty”

        Atticus is defending Tom Robinson in court even though everyone in town thinks Atticus is a disgrace for defending a black man. I know Tom Robinson from church. He is a nice man with a nice family. They are nice clean-living folk so I believe that Atticus should defend Tom no matter what anyone else says. Atticus is going to defend Tom because he wouldn’t be able to show his face to his children if he turned down this case. I’m not worried about tom because Atticus is a great lawyer. I think that he will win this case and get African-Americans some respect. Tom is innocent until proven guilty.
