Quote of the day: “Like father NOT like son”

        I had the greatest idea the other day! I was walking with Dill and Scout when it came to me. I told them that we should write a note to Boo Radley. It’s an amazing idea, right? Dill was all for it, but Scout was more hesitant, which I could see coming. Scout’s a chicken most of the time. Probably cause’ she’s younger. Anyways, so this is how we attempted to do it. We put the note on a long fishing pole line. Then I tried to swing the line into the window of the Radley House while Scout and Dill were lookouts. I was just about to swing it in when dad came. You can tell on Scout’s face that she was really ashamed Atticus caught us. Dad kept blabbing on and on about personal lives and that it wasn’t any of our business. I told him the note only said if he wanted to come out and get an ice cream with us, but dad just doesn’t listen. I think I wanna try again. This time, with dad out of the picture. Like father NOT like son!
